November - Drama!!

November this year is a month for very dramatic skyscapes!!

Early morning start today

Well I left home in plenty of time -  but unfortunately the A27 had other ideas  - as we passed Arundel i saw a beautiful shot - Arundel castle swathed in mist but no time to stop, so I determined that once my wife had dropped me off at the studio I would walk back just to get the shot alas I was too late but still got some good shots some are shown here:

This is the best mist shot at the time but look at these taken on the long walk back to my studio...

Well here is tuesday again - new website giving trouble - dreamweaver hiding things - great fun a problem to get my teeth into love it all have you got a problem - well I call them challenges and i try to beat them all.

I love a task that pushes my boundaries. what are your boundaries - do you need help in pushing them?

Here at the Design and Image Studio I have the best of places in a quiet calm surrounding to achieve a realization beyond my normal scope!

So if i get just a bit too stressed by a problem (sorry challenge) or I am bombarded by too many in one go - as a calming solution - which helps the thought processess- I take a short walk and compose a pleasing photograph it is a bit like music - it calms the savage beast ( not that i am a beast you understand - I am a very pleasant person - honest!)

Its October already

Well we made it through another month and we are halfway through the next.

 October the month of pretty leaves and coloured trees! its a great month for landscape photography the light is lower (in Britain) and warmer therefore despite the chill in the air you will probably find me out and about getting some autumn colour into my portfolio As with all my shots they are captured in the blink of an eye the sunsets etc change so rapidly that each second is a different shot especially at this time of the year!

As this is the first post a bit about our studio -

Our Studio is a converted Sussex flint barn with carpeting throughout (how posh is that!) We have two main shooting areas one of which is behind closed doors for full privacy. The studio is very versatile we can arrange for conferences and other corporate uses for up to 20 delegates, the studio is complete with free wifi tea and coffee! lunches can also be supplied at extra cost.

On the photographic side the two shooting areas are set up with backgrounds and a full set of interfit lights are available We have glamour style modelling clothing and shoes available and an in-house photographer and make up artist on hand to assist with that tricky shoot.
